Dallas TechFest (and Geek Gathering or Mono Meetup?)

This Friday afternoon, I will be taking another crack at "What has Mono done for .NET developers lately?" at the Dallas TechFest event in "lovely Frisco, TX". I'm trying to mix things up, so audience members who have been following the tour from city to city won't be disappointed. I think I'm going to try to add in a bit more MonoDevelop and Mac focus near the end this time, but we'll go with whatever the audience demands.

I arrive in Dallas tomorrow evening, and will be looking for an opportunity to get together for food / beer on Thursday night, if any fellow Mono fans and / or .NET friends in the area are interested in hanging out. My preference is going to be for mid-cities, as I'll be staying in Irving, but I'm open to suggestions. Please leave a comment or email jhill@novell.com if you're interested. I'll post an update here on Thursday if I get a good idea of what people are interested in.

If you're going to be at the event on Friday, there will also be another opportunity to hang out after the event. In any event, I'll try to update my twitter feed while I'm out there.
